ABOUT ME

In 2008 I moved to Los Angeles to attend the Los Angeles Film school to study film editing.

In a pre-YouTube era, I set my goals on working in film and television as an editor, inspired by my favorite shows and movies such as Moulin Rouge, Pushing Daisies, and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

I simultaneously had a hidden passion for playing video games and getting weird- creatively.

After film school, and a few of “those” glorious unpaid internships, I stumbled into my first paying career role. Those well versed in the history of gaming on Youtube may have heard of this massive multi-channel network company called Machinima. In 2010 I got hired on to answer the “fanmail” that arrived in the YouTube inboxes. I moved through Machinima to eventually join one of the production teams as a Jr. Producer. I was now creating content baby! Check out some of my work as a Producer & editor at Machinima:

After Machinima, from 2013 through 2016, I explored a few different ventures including but not limited to:

  • Influencer Management

  • Freelance Photography

  • Freelance Designing

  • Panera Bread Employee!

During this time I also invested myself into the world of Twitch Streaming, becoming a partner on the site and eventually partnering with Nvidia to stream on their channels as well.

In 2016, I returned to editing full time for another YouTube channel, before moving into a Post Production Supervisor role at Cow Chop in 2017.

During my time at Cow Chop I managed post production schedules, edited videos, performed in videos, coordinated branded content and facilitated many daily operations. In 2019 Cow Chop announced the closing of the channel and so it was time to move on again. I quickly pivoted to join the Funhaus team, a Rooster Teeth channel, as a producer.

For the next 5 years I was lucky enough to collaborate with an incredibly talented team of producers, writers and editors to create hundreds of videos that would be uploaded to the Funhaus Youtube channel weekly.

I wrapped up my time at Funhaus by producing, directing and editing a documentary that tells the story of Funhaus from the perspective of the remaining team and highlighting our time there, as well as saying farewell to a decade’s worth of work there. The video currently sits on the Funhaus Youtube channel at ~400k views.

Other notable experiences include technical directing and producing Extra Life charity livestreams throughout 2015-2022, field producing at conventions, producing and hosting podcasts, portrait photography, conceptualizing and hosting my own DIY show, directing documentaries and editing hundreds of videos over a decade. Basically, if you need something done, I’m your gal.
